In this role, you have the opportunity to be part of various activities within Warehousing, Handling, Storage, Shipping, Transportation, EU MDR Supply Chain related activities. This is a diverse Q&R role whereby you will play a key role within logistics; consulting, advising and assisting as both an engineer and as a business partner, providing key solutions within the supply chain for driving Q&R compliance.
You are responsible for:
Manage and support activities around e.g. EU MDR compliance in the supply chain.
Ensure that third party warehouse suppliers are following agreed processes.
Plan & Execute periodic audits on warehouse operations and reports on findings.
Facilitate in resolving the audit findings by the warehouse operations.
Ensure distribution hold and release process is executed according to agreed procedures.
Ensure proper control of nonconforming product, including segregation and disposition.
Key quality contact between Philips and third party logistics providers.
Mandate to disposition nonconforming product based on predefined and agreed criteria.
Report on KPI on warehouse performance (Audits, training, nonconforming products)
Facilitate in resolving issues with export controls and/or supply chain security
Develop and/or reviews warehouse operations procedures and processes for adequacy and consistency to ensure proper handling and storage of products.
Facilitate in investigating CAPA and complaints related to warehouse operations.
Ensure pick-to-order process is executed in accordance with regulatory requirements.
To succeed in this role:
Worked for more than 5 years in Medical Devices Industry and/or other regulated industry
Background in Engineering, Physical Distribution, Warehousing, Logistics, Quality operations is preferred
Logistics background preferable
Taking initiative and ownership
Firm and confident
Accurate, but also to the point
Project Management skills
Good Auditing skills
In-depth knowledge of Quality management systems and processes
Good Verbal & Writing skills in English
