The Services and Installed Base Marketing Manager is the pivotal marketing role in the ICAP Business Innovation Unit (BIU) for advanced clinical applications and drives creation of ICAP-related service-oriented solutions from idea to market by working with our various current and future key stakeholders (market, BIUs…). From an installed base management aspect, this role will establish strong marketing presence and direction, as well as processes for how we manage installed base, prioritize releases, service upgrades and EOL, working closely with marketing, service, and PMO/R&D.
The Services and Installed Base Marketing Manager is accountable for defining, launching and building profitable value-added services and solutions in conjunction with the relevant markets to drive a multi-year roadmap. He/she owns the definition for new services for IntelliSpace Portal and workstations, as well as oversees the upgrades and end-of-life of the installed base. He/she is required to build deep expertise in AV market segmentation, product strategy, and solution development, including working closely with counterparts in other BIUs within Healthcare Informatics to align service offerings and upgrade/EOL planning.
You are responsible for
Develop and maintain a needs-based customer segmentation for AV solution across global markets (supported by Market Intelligence) and across the various markets
Define and implement Marketing plans that support growth, and facilitate the adoption of our solutions by our customers and sales force.
Set price corridors and guidance for services across the various releases and define specific packages (basic, standard, premium) for advanced clinical applications services campaigns
Define with the Service Operations the multi-year services roadmap (e.g. remote diagnosis and monitoring, dashboard, consulting…)
Define and drive development and launch of service pack (update) content consistent with market requirements and customer inputs.
Manage the “Request for Change” (RFC) content and prioritize accordingly, ensuring key RFCs are included with each launch.
Drive execution of development and launch of services in all markets as part of a cross functional business team including BG/BIU Management, Sales, Field Marketing, Operations and Finance
Design and deploy new business models (e.g. AVaaS, Balloon CSA…) in selected markets.
Field marketing/marketing support, regulatory, supply chains, procurement or business support functions (these are shared at the BG level)
Operating performance or resource deployment of markets (e.g., tactical pricing, account priorities)
You are a part of
This role reports to the ICAP Senior Director of Marketing, and works directly with the ICAP Product Management team and other marketing functions to ensure the products/solutions are introduced and delivered to customers. The person in this role is required to have significant past experience and expertise in Radiology and/or Healthcare IT, market segmentation, competitive strategy, and product introduction/launch.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Bachelor’s in Healthcare field or Business (MBA preferred)
3+ years in marketing, product management or related field
3+ years’ experience in healthcare solutions businesses
Excellent customer-facing skills and passionate about customer needs/interests
Organized approach, and self-directed
Proven presentation skills
Proven communication skills and ability to influence colleagues
Experience in Radiology market. Understanding of the dynamics of healthcare marketing (key opinion leaders, key society meetings, etc…).
Boldness to create/shape markets whenever possible, exploiting Philips technologies, market positions and brand
Ability to synthesize market and customer feedback for existing and new products into solutions; comfortable with making tradeoffs
Ability to collaborate in a cross-functional team environment
Proven ability to work in a global environment.
