Continuous Improvement leader Global Commercial supply chain

Your challenge

The primary purpose of the role is to drive business impact and sustainable culture change, by acting as a catalyst for lean transformation within and beyond the organizational boundaries of Global Commercial supply chain health system amongst other the Customer fulfillment Center and customer project managers and related transformation programs.

This role will own the Lean deployments throughout the organization, actively driving for standardization and best practice sharing within a global environment. You will constantly challenge the status quo and be the role model for End2End Lean Thinking.

Your responsibilities

  • Raise the overall level of knowledge and awareness of the organization through simultaneous training and demonstration through hands-on application of lean tools and concepts

  • Drive transformation across multiple functional boundaries to deliver high-impact results on critical business performance targets such as lead time, quality, and cost

  • Drive global standardization of Lean deployments across multiple customer fulfillment centers (CFCs) and customer project management

  • Scale up lean deployment activities and impact beyond the existing model lines across all of Commercial supply chain

  • Drive the annual global strategic planning process, including market alignment and its translation towards actions

  • Actively manage internal and external stakeholders to create buy in for the envisioned future state

  • Set up the business for a multi-year full lean deployment along the entire Order-to-Cash flow

  • Coach management on leadership style using lean principles and applying a more holistic approach towards our future supply chain design

  • Manage CI mindset change across multiple geographies and functions

  • Functionally lead a global virtual team of Lean deployment leaders towards operational excellence

  • Capture, document and share best practice, transferring knowledge across deployment sites and cross sector

Your team

You will lead a small team of Sr. Lean Deployment Leaders. You will report to the Head of supply chain heath systems and be part of the MT.

Your profile

  • Business savvy: good understanding of business fundamentals, financials, and market drivers

  • 8+ years’ experience designing and leading lean deployments across multiple disciplines (manufacturing, office, development) with significant impact on lead time, quality, and cost

  • 10+ years’ experience within (a commercial) supply chain or manufacturing environment

  • Certified Lean Master, or development plan to achieve this within the foreseeable future

  • Advanced analytical, problem solving skills

  • Proven Project and program management skills, PM Basics certified, PMP highly desirable

  • Straightforward and natural communicator on all different levels in an organization

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to develop and articulate key presentations in an inspiring way

  • Pragmatic, “getting things done” mentality

  • Experience in multiple industries, working with complex assemblies

  • Line management experience

  • Not afraid to take calculated risks

  • Collaboration skills, both as a leader and as a team member, preferably in a multi-cultural global environment

  • Fluent in English, verbal and written

  • Flexibility towards travelling (<25% travel), globally.
