Currently we have the opportunity for a dynamic Head of Market PH/HS Operations and BT, to join our team in Eindhoven, NL and be responsible for the African market.
In this role you will be responsible for the fidelity, adherence, maintenance and execution of all Sales Support and Supply related processes in the market. These processes fall broadly within the key pillars of customer satisfaction with the Quote and Tendering, delivery and installation, sales & operation planning, demand/ supply balancing, inventory management, order fulfillment, Project Management, warehousing & distribution and third party materials management. You will be responsible for identifying and driving key breakthrough projects in the market and integral supply chain to ensure continued best practice in line with or ahead of market norms. You will ensures key capabilities and people competencies are in place and that reporting is timely, standardized and transparent, enabling best practice sharing and rapid problem solving. Deliver operational excellence in line with Global and Market AOP target. You will be responsible for the definition and implementation of the Market Business Transformation roadmap and the improvement of Lean market maturity (POEM)
You will report to the Market Leader, Africa
You are responsible for:
Defining operational market strategy and BT roadmap as part of Market SPOR and Global PIL roadmap ensure consistency and alignment of operational capability building, improvement focus and SPOR objectives
Responsible for competence development, succession planning, and talent management of the team
Sales back office, Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP); responsible for the functionality and maturity of the S&OP process and the HS/ PH sales forecast on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis. Also Customer satisfaction with the Initial Delivery and installation process: NPS ICQS
Owner and gatekeeper of the Commercial framework, standard T&C, G2M and Where to Play framework
Driving in close collaboration with the sales leader Sales Cadence, forecast accuracy, sales (back office) efficiency and improvement initiatives
Supply Chain Operations:
Demand planning; overall responsible for the quality of the demand plan as an output of the S&OP process and managing inventory levels
Supply planning and orderbook iGM realisation; responsible for regional and locally relevant improvement initiatives to enable sales growth, inventory and logistics cost to maximize fulfillment of the demand e.g. MOQ reduction. E2E Lead-time reduction.
Order Fulfillment; order management, responsible for Customer project Management, the purchasing and supply of all third party materials and realizing customer satisfaction on the realization of projects in the hospitals and customer sites
Warehousing & distribution; responsible for the performance of the logistics network in respect to GTM, delivery performance and cost optimization and managing the relationship with logistics service providers in the markets
Responsible for implementing customer collaboration processes, in line with the market strategy, that will drive supply chain excellence (e.g. CFC)
Responsible for DEFOA and Reversed logistics as well as Late customization
BT & CI
Lead the market operational transformation program from a business/market perspective and manage the team of process and solutions leads and interfacing with the global program boards representing the market managing market readiness and risk flagging and mitigation. As part of the program
Redesign and deploy roles and responsibilities and location of assets
Ensure adequate process definition, deployment and execution of the to-be operational processes
Decide on market readiness go/no-go decisions on key milestones
Define, deploy and maintain the policies/procedures and standards of operational execution for market Africa from Quote to Cash ensuring un-compromised implementation of the standard Philips business processes, quality standards and standards of business conduct according to Philips policies
Define, deploy and maintain the performance management system driving continuous improvement and lean practices into the market organization
Drive continuous improvement of Master Data quality and ensuring Master Data is supporting business performance transparency and controls framework
OIT & Sales forecast accuracy in $ and units
NPS and IQ
Successful BT Projects and Global implementations including adoption rates
Commercial Inventory forecast accuracy, level, excess and aging
P %, NPS ICQS, Cycle time and market inventory, compliancy with CTPAT, export controls and customs regulations
IWD costs in the market.
Customer Satisfaction and feedback loops on Quality f.e. DEFOA, Managing the market side of DEFOA's.
FCP, productivity (units produced per labor hour)
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Master Degree and>15 years of professional experience in supply chain and operations management.
Experience in other commercial functions (PM, Purchasing, sales).
Certification in Lean, Six Sigma, or Supply Chain and Operations management
Strong process mindset demonstrated in process improvement role or management of complex business projects.
Strong experience in managing multinational/multicultural teams in complex business environments.
Experience in managing communication at all levels in the organization, and ability to interact at the highest level of the organization.
