Philips Health Informatics Solution Architect in Eindhoven, Netherlands

The Solution Architect is responsible for designing complex Health Informatics solutions based on performance data, first-hand review and analysis, customer feedback and industry best practices.

Identifies performance improvement opportunities for Philips customers, and architects/design Health Informatics solutions to address customers’ needs using Health Informatics technologies and Informatics services from Philips and potentially external partners.

Develops the Customer specific solution with other domain experts while matching the customer requirements and willingness to pay.

Applies expertise to the sales process concerning services and the level of effort in an engagement to assure customer success and positive business results.

You will be part of an International team tasked to accelerate transformation in the international market teams of Philips to high-end clinical informatics solutions across the care cycle.

Your mission is to drive or compliment the market teams in complex deal wins, and assure knowledge stickiness locally in the Market.

You are responsible for

  • Provides leadership in the selling effort to accurately estimate Health Informatics services & solutions offerings in the market.

  • Assesses client’s business, clinical and technical needs, business goals, performance and strategies as they pertain to our solution offerings

  • Execute on complex data-driven problem solving to address client’s operational, clinical and business needs

  • Applies domain expertise to the sales process concerning Health Informatics solutions & services and the level of effort in an engagement to assure customer success and positive business results

  • Utilizes Philips standard methodologies to accomplish business goals

  • Prepares content and presents the Solution and Services capability of the Philips offering to prospective clients at all levels within the client organization (CxO, MD, Clinician, IT)

  • Independently, or as a member of a selling team, scopes implementation, integration and consulting services through an accurate task analysis and work effort estimate

  • Assures that complete Statement of Work documents are available, accurate and associated quote meets Philips business standards related to financial transparency.

  • Contribute expertise to business strategy, value-propositions, and business development opportunities

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Able to build and maintain relationships with customers at all levels in the buying organization

  • Excellent customer service skills

  • Awareness of services delivery processes with a focus on Solution Design & Delivery/Project Management

  • High-level professional demeanor and interpersonal communications skills; superb writing skills in English

  • Knowledge of virtualization and hardware scalability and availability.

  • Strong collaboration skills in a multinational environment

  • Requires understanding of Solution Design & Delivery/Project Management methodology

  • Bachelor/Master degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience is required

  • Knowledge and experience in the Health Informatics domain (e.g. PACS/HIS/RIS/EMR, DICOM, HL7, IHE)

  • Requires a broad understanding of multiple Health Informatics technologies in healthcare

  • Service oriented attitude, both internal and external

  • Ability and willingness to travel, most travel will be done within Europe. Rare international travel may be required.
