Philips Integration Manager M2O - Acquisitions in Eindhoven, Netherlands



As Integration Manager you play a key role in the integration of newly acquired businesses and other ventures in the B2B domain onto the commercial backbone of Philips. You will be the linking pin between the integration teams and the commercial capability domains and its owners for catalog, opportunity quotation, contract and order management. Based on your commercial experience you are a business process expert that can assess the as-is of the acquired business/venture and help translate that into what is needed to onboard in Philips. This will require changes in the ways of working on the side of the acquired business/venture to fit onto the Philips standard as well as development of new capabilities. Operating within the integration team and collaborating with business owners you will frequently interact with a variety of Business Process Experts (BPEs) and other Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in the various Market to Order (M2O) domains to determine requirements, coordinate the prioritization and help realization. One important dimension is the coordination with the New Product Introduction to Cash (NPI2C) transformation program, which is building the future commercial transactional backbone: a standardized, integral set of capabilities that support our current business as well as our new solutions and acquisitions As our ideal candidate you bring demonstrable hands-on commercial experience in the B2B domain and the ability to determine what is needed to integrate and how to realize this through a creative. pragmatic and result oriented approach.

Your challenge

In close collaboration with stakeholders in the integration teams and acquired new business/venture you assess their as-is ways of working and help determine the requirements to integrate and onboard into Philips. You will do this through business requirement gathering, process and value stream mapping and other professional methods. You will help translate this into integration requirements and drive change to onboard onto existing Philips capabilities or deliver input for the development of new capabilities. Thereby you will look at processes, people, platforms & tooling and data requirements. You will act as the go-to person in the integration team for the M2O domain and be the linking pin with the various domain owners like Business Process Experts and other stakeholders. Furthermore you will engage actively with the NPI2C program that is currently building the new commercial transactional backbone in Philips. Any specific requirements needed for new businesses will need to become part of the NPI2C roadmap and agreed on in terms of prioritization and timelines. You will further ensure that standard processes are used in the acquisitions/ventures and new processes are created as the basis for existing and new to be developed (IT) tools and ensure change management in the organization to move and adopt our people to new and more effective ways of working. Your success is timely and effective onboarding of the new business/venture in Philips. Leveraging your own experience and based on internal and external best practices and insights you help to enable these new businesses to effectively sell, transact and deliver their solutions in support of the Philips growth strategy. Typical criteria for success are on time delivery, user adoption and on target performance. With this you will build and operate a strong network of business stakeholders, subject matter experts and peers.

Your responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate the requirement assessment and determination of integration and onboarding needs for acquired businesses and ventures with and between the integration team(s), M2O domain owners such as BPEs and the NPI2C program

  • Help determine, design, build and lead deployment of new capabilities (process, tool, people, data) in the scope of catalog, opportunity, quote, contract and order management relevant for our acquired business and ventures.

  • Maintain, develop, and safeguard relevant processes and KPIs according to standard architecture as part of the Philips Excellence Process Framework (PEPF)

  • Interact and collaborate with stakeholders and peers in the acquired businesses, markets, business and supporting functions like IT, Enterprise Information Management and Philips University to ensure capabilities are well designed, deployed and adopted in line with the business’s needs

  • Drive real change through implementation, adoption and continuous improvement of processes, solutions and best practices in our markets and businesses.

  • Initiate, challenge, support and lead improvement opportunities in the commercial domain.

  • Drive and manage integration and onboarding realization in line with defined KPIs and business objectives set out for each acquisition

  • Build and operate a strong network of stakeholders, subject matter experts and peers in Markets, Businesses and other functions

The organization

You will join a divers global team in the Market to Order (M2O) domain consisting of Business Process Experts, Business Information Experts, Product Owners and other types of experts that are active in our Business Transformation effort aimed to mature Philips into a more integrated and effective organization. You will specifically support the integration and onboarding effort of our newly acquired business and ventures including commercial capability building, talent and competency development and performance management. Thereby you will be part of a one of the End to End transformation programs called NPI to Cash and report to the Business Process Owner (BPO) for Market to Order (M2O). The work location is Eindhoven, The Netherlands.

We are looking for in the ideal candidate

  • Minimal 5 years of international commercial experience in the Business to Business domain covering catalog, opportunity (CRM), quote (Configure Price Quote – CPQ), contract and order management.

  • Working knowledge of the company’s B2B business domain or similar products and services

  • Pragmatic business acumen, understanding the value of standard work and practical solutions

  • Experience with professional concepts like, Lean, Problem Solving, Daily Management

  • Hands-on experience with current IT platforms like CRM (eg, Configure Price Quote (CPQ – eg Apttus) and/or SAP

  • Strong communicator, able to interact with internal and external stakeholders, experts, peers and leaders

  • Team player and natural collaborator

  • Able to change the thinking of or gain acceptance from others in sensitive situations, without damage to the relationship.

  • Structured, organized and stress resilient personality able quickly to understand the issues and bring together necessary resources to resolve them

  • Self-starter who takes initiative, values impact over effort and is motivated to drive performance

  • Master’s degree by education or work experience

  • Willing to travel internationally up to 20% of the time

  • Fluent in English speaking and writing, other international languages preferred
