In this role, you have the opportunity to
Learn more about ultrasound imaging, machine learning techniques, high performance computing
You are responsible for
Conducting a literature study on existing automated techniques for fetal body parts detection and localization using ultrasound
Developing an algorithm for fetal head detection and localization
Real time implementation of the developed algorithm
You are a part of
You will be working in Embedded Systems department in collaboration with Microsystems & Devices department, Philips Research, Eindhoven. You will be a part of a team of experts combining knowledge machine learning, pattern recognition, computer vision, signal processing and high performance computing.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Currently enrolled in Masters University degree in Computer Science & Engineering, Informatics, Physics, Applied mathematics or an equally relevant area
Good knowledge of Machine Learning
Experience with Matlab/Python, C programming is essential
Affinity with signal processing would be helpful
Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
Good communication skills and enthusiasm to contribute in an international environment

Duration : 6months minimum.
It can be discussed with manager to make this opportunity a Thesis supporting assignment as well.
