Philips Internship: Finance & Rebate Management (not suitable for thesis) in Eindhoven, Netherlands

In this role, you have the opportunity to

Work in a multinational environment where change management is one of the key dynamics within the team. After your internship, you will have an understanding of how the Rebate process work operationally in an international business environment. You will be accustomed to an environment experiencing change.

You are responsible for

Within the Credit and Collection domain, you will:

  • Provide support to the Rebate Management process in the operational activities relating to but not limited to reporting.

  • Participating in meetings via Teams, following up on action points and chairing where needed.

  • Follow up with Philips Global Hub, technical SAP team to get the right reporting for the Philips markets. Provide ad-hoc assistance on several projects we are working on.

  • Improve the way we manage and analyze our rebate accrual portfolio. What you do will be translated into immediate actions.

You are a part of

Located in Eindhoven, our team is responsible to further expand and improve our Credit & Collection process. You will work with professionals with international focus in the Credit & Collection department on the Corporate level. You will be working for Accounting Operations. Our most important stakeholders are our local Pricing Managers and Finance Business Partners in our Healthcare and Personal Health markets. You will work closely together with our Global Rebate Manager in Eindhoven.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Currently studying towards your Bachelor/Master in Accounting, Finance, Business Economics, Economics, (International) Business Management

  • Interest in developing Accounting skills specifically

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Strong command of MS Office package, especially Excel

  • You should demonstrate all of our Philips key behaviours (Team Up to Win, Take Ownership to Deliver Fast, Quality and Integrity Always, Customers First and Eager to Improve and Inspire).

  • A Positive attitude combined with out of the box thinking, willing to deliver and having fun at the same time.

  • Proficiency in oral and written English
