Start date: We prefer students able to start as soon as possible, no later than Q3 2020.
Duration: 6 Months. We do prefer students able to run a 9 months assignment.
We are able to support this internship assignment with a thesis, depending on your subject. For this reason, we do require an availability of 32 (with Thesis support) -40 (With no Thesis support) hours per week.
In this role, you have the opportunity to
Enhance the maturity of Procurement Engineering (PE) Way of Working in the Business and explore the future PE value proposition in the area of Software centric Businesses
You are responsible for
Support in process automation and data analysis
Facilitate the deployment of Procurement Engineering way of working and standardization
Provide transparency of Procurement contributions in Financials, Delivery, New Product Introduction, Quality and Risk management.
You are a part of
The Procurement Engineering team for Philips Innovation & Strategy, an international team with energetic professionals.
You will be working at the High Tech Campus in Eindhoven.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Currently studying towards you University Master in Sciences in: (International) Business Management, Supply Chain Management or Industrial Engineering
Knowledge in process flow analysis and optimization is key for this assignment
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office and particular EXCEL
Proactive in solving issues
Possess an entrepreneurial mindset (tracking start-ups and New Technology)
Can-do mindset and excellent communication skills
Fluent in oral and written English
