Philips IT Visibility & Engagement Lead in Eindhoven, Netherlands

We are currently looking for somebody to lead our IT Visibility and Engagement Team, part of our IT Governance organization. Our team is a global and diverse group of professionals whose mission is to inform, excite and engage employees around IT services, solutions and strategy; ultimately driving results for Philips. We partner with leaders, program and project managers to explain our IT strategies, change programs and tooling in a way that is compelling, differentiated and actionable for Philips employees and internal stakeholders. Our areas of focus include: CIO/leadership engagement, stakeholder engagement, operational and user adoption communications at both global and regional level.

As the head of IT Visibility and Engagement, you are responsible for

  • Working with the CIO to develop communications, compelling stories, and content that advance IT priorities and communications goals

  • Developing and executing strategic engagement, user adoption and communications plans that promote a consistent, compelling brand and message to business stakeholders, partners, IT employees and Philips IT users

  • Developing and executing on an internal communications program that builds pride in the IT organization as well as trust and confidence in IT with business stakeholders

  • Leading a global team to implement the global/regional engagement, user adoption and communications programs across a variety of channels (e.g., print, presentations, video, visual and digital media, special events, email and the Web).

  • Overseeing the day-to-day activities of the function including budgeting, planning, and staff development

  • Developing and regularly reporting on a set of metrics for measuring the effectiveness of IT engagement and communications program.

  • Maintaining and using the network of communications entities within and across Philips

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing or Business Administration, with at least 10-15 years of related work experience.

  • Three or more years of experience in IT

  • Demonstrated experience in working with diverse, global and virtual teams

  • Superb people management skills with the ability to attract, motivate, empower, coach and retain staff

  • Track record of successful engagement, communications, user adoption and organizational change management programs

  • Ability to influence others through communicating ideas or positions in a persuasive manner that builds support, agreement and commitment to change.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, able to build relationships and work effectively with others at all levels across the business

  • Fluent in English, verbal and written
