Currently we have the opportunity for a dynamic Commercial Operations Leader HS & PH to join our team in Eindhoven, NL and be responsible for the Service and Operations functions in the African market.

In this role you will be responsible for the fidelity, adherence, maintenance and execution of all Supply related processes in the market. These processes fall broadly within the key pillars of customer satisfaction with the delivery and installation, sales & operation planning, demand / supply balancing, inventory management, order fulfillment, Project Management, warehousing & distribution and third party materials management. You will identify and drive key breakthrough projects in the market and integral supply chain to ensure continued best practice in line with or ahead of market norms. You will ensure key capabilities and people competencies are in place and that reporting is timely, standardized and transparent, enabling best practice sharing and rapid problem solving. You will deliver operational excellence in line with Global and Market AOP targets.

The role will be located in Eindhoven, Netherlands.

You will report to the Market Leader, Africa

You are responsible for:

  • Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP):

  • responsible for the functionality and maturity of the S&OP process (PH and HS) and the HS sales forecast on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis. Also Customer satisfaction with the Initial Delivery and installation process: NPS ICQS

  • Demand planning:

  • overall responsible for the quality of the demand plan as an output of the S&OP process and managing inventory levels

  • Supply planning;

  • responsible for Market relevant improvement initiatives to enable customer service, sales growth, inventory and logistics cost e.g. MOQ reduction. E2E Lead-time reduction.

  • HS: Customer Service and Order Fulfillment:

  • order management, responsible for Customer project Management, the purchasing and supply of all third party materials and realizing customer satisfaction on the realization of projects in the hospitals and customer sites

  • PH: Order Fulfillment; responsible for the order management process

  • Warehousing & distribution; responsible for the performance of the logistics network in respect to GTM, delivery performance and cost optimization and managing the relationship with logistics service providers in the market

  • Responsible for implementing customer collaboration processes, in line with the market strategy, that will drive supply chain excellence

  • People management:

  • responsible for competence development, succession planning, and talent management within the Market supply chain team

  • Reversed logistics

  • Late customization

  • Formulate the future supply chain strategy in line with the strategic direction of the Market


  • Forecast accuracy

  • Commercial Inventory forecast accuracy, level, excess and aging

  • Sales realization (CSG)

  • Q*P %, NPS ICQS, Cycletime and market inventory, compliancy with CTPAT, export controls and customs regulations

  • IWD costs in the market.

  • Customer Satisfaction and feedback loops on Quality f.e. DEFOA, Managing the market side of DEFOA's.

  • Customer Service Level

  • Inventory level

  • Aging & Excess

  • TPW%

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Master Degree and >15 years of professional experience in supply chain and operations management.

  • Experience in other commercial functions (PM, Purchasing, sales).

  • Certification in Lean, Six Sigma, or Supply Chain and Operations management

  • Customer Focus,

  • Strong process mindset demonstrated in process improvement role or management of complex business projects.

  • Strong experience in managing multinational / multi-cultural teams in complex business environments.

  • Experience in managing communication at all levels in the organization, and ability to interact at the highest level of the organization.
