Currently we have the opportunity for a dynamic Market & Sales Manager to join Philips Health systems Team in Eindhoven or Cairo and be responsible for the MR business at Market Africa level.
As a Market & Sales Manager, you will be leading the MR selling cycle in Africa by defining the business strategies, managing the interactions with the BU M2O team and supporting the sales team in the areas of values selling, solution design and marketing strategy.
You will report to the Diagnostic Imaging Business Marketing Director Africa.
You are responsible for:
Responsible for the BMC planning and execution, monitors performance, develops and enables execution of corrective actions in the Markets to achieve BMC and AOP-commitments.
Drive the MR sales in Market Africa, by identifying growth opportunities, actively participating in the solution design and providing input for both the forecasting and the demand planning cycle.
Drive demand generation and ensures that business performance is being delivered according to KPIs such as yearly sales, order intake, market shares, Integral Gross Margin (IGM) and price realization.
Engage in continuous dialogues with the global businesses related to performance, forecasts, market trends, competition, and growth opportunities.
Drive and own the NPI deployment process in Market Africa for the BU MR and ensure the cross function collaboration.
Act as a subject matter expert for MRI by providing product expertise to the sales team, presenting the key products strengths and capabilities during the marketing event and defining training plans for channel partners.
Develop local go-to-market strategies (Segmentation, Targeting, Positioning, Portfolio definition, pricing, promotion and channel management) to drive profitable growth, in line with Quality & Regulatory requirements.
Analyze business/market/competitor trends, competitive Win/Loss analysis models, customer needs and support the DI Business Manager to translate into innovative marketing programs to maximize business success.
Design, monitor and implement Installed base programs for the BU MR in Market Africa Analyze business/market/competitor trends, competitive Win/Loss analysis models, customer needs and support the DI Business Manager, to translate into innovative marketing programs to maximize business success.
Develop luminary sites and activities throughout Market Africa, which promote additional market opportunities and revenue by increasing customer awareness of Philips leadership in MR.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:
University level education in the area of C ommerce/Bio-medical engineering/Clinical sciences .
5-10 years of relevant experience .
Sales & Marketing experience in the medical equipment environment .
Experience in matrix organizations.
