In this role, you have the opportunity to

Help the innovation teams to bring products to the market, complying with Philips policies, safety standards and worldwide regulations, all within a competitive environment.

You are responsible for

The SCR specialist will strengthen the team in Eindhoven to provide safety and compliance support to the current and future portfolio of Consumer medical and Skincare electronics products in Philips Innovation Site Eindhoven.

Your responsibilities in the Development teams include but are not limited to:

•Create Compliance plan

•Verify Compliance evidence

•Verify Labeling Compliance

•Support Safety Risk Assessments

•Support Post Market Surveillance

•Support Approbation Activities

You are a part of

The Innovation Site Eindhoven (ISE) delivers Innovation and Development of medical and non-medical devices to the Personal Health business. ISE is responsible for product research, development, industrialization and post market activities.

The ISE Quality and Regulatory team ensures that all products meet relevant regulations and standards, performance and reliability requirements and Philips policies. The Safety & Compliance Specialist ensures that the products that are developed meet both internal and external standards and regulations, and that the products are safe to use for the most vulnerable end-users (babies and infants).

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

• Academic degree in Biomedical, Material, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering or equivalent

• 5 years of experience in product development projects of electronics consumer and/or medical products

• Experience in Safety & Compliance domains and a quality mindset.

• Knowledge of Safety standards IEC 60601, IEC 60335, EMC, and EMF

• Experience in Safety testing and Safety Circuits is preferred

• Experience in multi-disciplinary, (consumer) product development projects

• A network oriented mindset and ability to interact with all business functions at all levels. You are an excellent communicator and motivator

• Conceptual, analytically strong, data driven, with a strong desire to improve organizational effectiveness structurally.

• Team player and hands-on personality.
