Philips Senior Product Manager Data Science in Eindhoven, Netherlands


In this role, you have the opportunity to

Define the product strategy and positioning for our HealthSuite data science services and play a key role in the overall Philips strategy for Artificial Intelligence and data management. HealthSuite Insights, Clinical Data Lake and our Big Data Platform are the development and deployment environments for AI work in the company and our ecosystem.

You are responsible for

  • Act as a thought leader in the field of Artificial Intelligence, collaborate with key opinion leaders and develop an in-depth understanding of global trends and competitive offerings of AI use in Healthcare.

  • Together with the HealthSuite digital platform management team, the Chief Architect Office, the product owner, architect and development managers conceive the value proposition and functional roadmap for the data science services

  • Interact closely with internal and external customers and users of the platforms and represent HealthSuite Platforms

  • Derive the user requirements from the customer interactions and prepare platform service releases for these customers together with the release managers

  • Keep the dialogue with other players in the AI and cloud market and integrate their offerings where appropriate

  • Collaborate closely with the development team in India, the US and Europe as well as supporting functions such as Quality and Regulatory.

  • Act on opportunities identified by the key markets and work directly with strategic hospital and pharma partners to serve their needs

  • Support the marketing manager in the creation of marketing material including catalogs, websites and other publications

You are a part of

A team inside Philips focused on our HealthSuite digital platform that provides key components to enable the development of cloud-based consumer and healthcare solutions. It removes the burden of risk, cost and resources associated with moving to cloud, so that Philips businesses and customers can focus on developing and ensuring compliance of their value-added solutions. HealthSuite digital platform is a global organization with sites in the US, India and the Netherlands. The majority of the data science development team is based in India. You will work in Eindhoven, Netherlands in close collaboration with the global teams.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Master/Bachelor or PhD degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related subject

  • Background in Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning applications and development

  • Product management or comparable experience

  • 3+ years of successful prior experience in the medical software or device industry desired

  • Experience with cloud and software technologies is desired

  • Should be viewed as a leader and be able to act independently

  • Must have superior verbal and written communication and excellent presentation skills.

  • Skilled at influence, decision making, collaboration; experience working across functional teams

  • Personally motivated, creative thinker and accountable team player

  • Comfortable traveling globally several times per year
