In this role, as Advanced Manufacturing Engineer, you have the opportunity to
Use your software and hardware skills and understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment to support new and legacy medical device solutions, to use your experience to help shape Business, Quality and other improvement objectives. Experience with Medical system design, development and release into high volume manufacturing is highly desired.
You are responsible for
Initiate and lead process development and process improvement activities
Initiate Capex optimization for initial investments
Work on Software/Hardware development sustaining projects including Lifecycle Management (LCM)
Ensure adherence to the applicable process for New Product Introductions (NPI), qualifications and release
Initiate Design for Manufacturability and Test (DfMAT) in Product Development, Launch and Maintenance (PDLM) processes using APQP
Accountable for Process and Manufacturing Requirements as they pertain to Product Requirements
Working knowledge of Schematic, AutoCAD and other design related drawing outputs formats and Configuration Management.
Apply lean and agile manufacturing principles
Responsible for Manufacturing Bill of Materials (MFG BOM), routing Master data
Accountable for implementation of design changes in Philips factories and at suppliers
You are a part of
Philips Aging and Caregiving-Lifeline division based in Framingham, MA.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
7 plus years’ experience in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering
College degree required in engineering or scientific field, Master’s degree a plus
Must have strong Test Development experience with software/hardware, equipment or Manufacturing processes
Must have strong Project Management skills
Working knowledge of LabVIEW and TestStand, Python and C/C++ is a plus
RF Product and System experience preferable but not necessary
