Philips Direct Sales, Senior Manager- Lifeline (Framingham, MA) in Framingham, Massachusetts


In this role, you have the opportunity to

The Senior Manager for Direct Sales drives revenue and subscription activations across upper, mid and lower funnel consumer calls while maintaining focus on cancellation and retention metrics. Lead and develop the Direct Sales team to execute to their full potential and provide our external and internal customers with world class service including driving change programs in collaboration with consumer and B2B marketing teams.

You are responsible for

  • Leads the US Direct Sales & Retention team, related processes and staff in the execution of world class sales performance

  • Arranges programs, projects, goals, and metrics to lead the Direct Sales organization. Prepares sales operation and investment plans

  • Formulate, details and introduces improvement plans for his group/unit and executes plan to reduce costs

  • Supervises, selects, develops, coaches and evaluates personnel

  • Accountable to meet revenue and activation business targets and control Cancellation/retention numbers

  • Manage workforce planning for team and ensure resources are aligned to service levels

  • Create coaching action plans that are driven in a specific skill set for each Team Leader and staff for development

  • Develop Annually the Direct Sales Business Plan aligning the objectives to the cooperate objectives

  • Conduct yearly PPM for the Direct Sales Staff

  • Responsible and driver for people strategy and employee engagement scores

You are a part of

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • 5+ years of Direct Sales (Business to Consumer) management experience

  • Expert in best practices for staffing and modernizing a Direct Sales Team

  • Expert in incenting and organizing staff to create next-level performance and conversion

  • Preferred experience in building and monetizing subscriber relationship

  • Expertise in Direct Sales performance measures, forecasting, staffing

  • Project management skills

  • Proven ability to effectively build, train, and coach to achieve team goals

  • Strong time management and organizational skills

  • Experience managing $2M+ budget, planning and cost control

  • Process and procedure creation experiences

  • Post-Secondary education and or equivalent experience

  • Management systems: CRM experience (SFDC, Hubspot)

  • Telephony and call tracking system experience
