Philips Sales Trainer in Framingham, Massachusetts


In this role, Philips Lifeline Sales Trainer, you have the opportunity to

Develop Plans and manage the training and sales development of the inbound/outbound sales representatives to ensure both the individual sellers and department sales targets are met through the function of selling Philips Lifeline products and services and the achievement of sales metrics.

You are responsible for

  • Plans and manages the training and professional sales development of the sales representatives to ensure obtainment of both the individual sellers and thusly department sales targets through the function of selling Lifeline products and services and the achievement of sales metrics. Establishes goals for professional sales development consistent with those of the Direct Sales Department AOP goals and initiates long-range plans for competency-based instruction to accomplish planned goals Important responsibility #1

  • Responsible for training and developing the Blended sellers, Healthcare sellers, Retention sellers and Referral Development sellers.

  • Responsible for the onboarding of all newly hired Direct Sales representatives and for ensuring new hires have sufficient knowledge and skills for independent customer engagement. Consults with sales managers to finalize seller call qualification.

  • Directs the development, production and distribution of information to the sales staff on product knowledge, technical background, marketing strategies, sales skills, work habits and attitudes, policies, procedures, institutional promotion and all other materials related to the training of the sales staff.

  • Create and maintain department training procedures and documents.

  • Assumes responsibility for directing the design, content, development, coordination and effective implementation of sales department representative meetings, seminars and conferences as needed.

  • Responsible for developing and executing training on new products, services and partnerships as they are launched.

  • Responsible for assisting in the obtainment of operational excellence with the rollout and/ or updates with systems and processes by training to prevent seller errors.

  • Keeps abreast of developments in the field of educational techniques, audio/video technology/computer and communications skills via monitoring contemporary management philosophies, concepts and techniques. Assists in the implementation of those that are applicable for the greater efficiency of our sales force.

You are a part of

Philips Lifeline Aging and Caregiving Direct Sales team based in Framingham, MA office.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work-related experience required.

  • Sales Management/Marketing experience at various levels (i.e. Sales Representative, Key Account Representative, Regional Sales Manager, Marketing Manager, etc.) is required.

  • Knowledge of learning and training principles, resource and program design, implementation and measurement, creative problem solving skills and effective communication skill is required.

  • Telephonic Sales Management or Telephonic Sales Training experience preferred.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Excellent planning and organizational skills

  • Ability to work independently and Team oriented

  • Excellent interpersonal skills

  • Travel requirement may be up to 15%
