You are responsible for
Be the lead contact point for Supplier Quality of Business Group - Population Health Management (Medical Device & Software) for AMEC suppliers as well as some in Europe
Ensure the annual definition of the quality improvement plan based on business needs and timely implementation.
Manage the daily hands-on work with Philips suppliers and establish internal and external quality processes such as SCAR and Supplier Metric Scorecards
Supports on-site/off-site supplier quality development including coordination /management of required internal/external resources.
Manages the early involvement of suppliers in new product development and product/component improvement. Leads quality system audits.
Deploys and follows-up on the Supplier Quality Related KPI’s towards the supplier.
Ensures the assigned supply base meets the Philips sustainability requirements. Ensures the timely and correct GSRS data-input.
Participates in the Supplier Selection process for the quality aspects.
Sets supplier quality aspects for new / improved products ensuring manufacturability aspects at suppliers.
You are a part of
Philips Population Health Management which is an emerging market need that is leading Population Health Management for Philips. The Q&R team is very team centric and comprised of industry leading products that are regulated by FDA/ISO 13485 and non-regulated
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Bachelor/Master (preferably in Medical / Engineering or Science)
5 years’ experience in either a Quality, NPI or Continuous Improvement function
Experience in the Medical Device with working knowledge of ISO 13485, ISO 9001 and 21 CFR 820
Experience with quality systems, quality tools and methodologies
Knowledge of the Purchasing function and associated commodity, supply base, quality and data management considerations. Understanding of Procurement, Supplier Relationship Management, Material and Supplier Quality and Data Management areas.
Strong APQP knowledge and experience with all aspects of supplier quality management: quality concepts/tools/methods (e.g. FMEA, DOE, IQ/OQ/PQ, MSA, GRR, 8D, etc.), quality issue resolution and quality monitoring measures ( use of statistical process control methodologies (CPk/PPk and data analysis is essential)
Experience working in a manufacturing engineering environment strongly preferred.
Assertive and with the ability to think out of the box and adapt to commercial context
Able to work independently and under pressure
Strong communicate skills, written and verbal
Willingness to travel up to 40%
