In this role, you have the opportunity to
managing innovation projects for our Innovation team in Gaggio Montano (BO), our main innovation center for fully automated Espresso machines.
You are responsible for
Formulate the overall project assignment including time and resource planning, risk analysis and risk management and have the assignment and project plan approved by management in consultation with the relevant functions and other stakeholders/parties involved, on base of requirements and business case.
Ensure the project is following pre-defined project development process and provide required deliverables on time and in budget; build and maintain the project organization, choose the way of working and select the adequate tools (tailor the approach to the specific project). Define the interfaces with other functions, internal and external to Philips.
Identify the risks of the project (f.e. specs, costs, planning, etcetera) and develop scenarios to overcome these risks.
Direct team members and give them operational guidance, both technically and organizationally; and be responsible for implementation and realization of the project, according to the project plan, securing specification, quality, time, financials and information.
Deploy process improvements and make the project organization efficient and transparent, in line with project management processes.
Represent the project team at the business and provide business management with regular project performance status updates; identify deviations to the plan and take corrective actions.
Ensure that there is an effective transfer and archiving of the project results and the associated knowledge and learning transfer; proactively react on changes in external and internal organizational environment, changes in risk assessments and supplier management and drive agile corrective actions inside boundaries of your responsibilities
Constantly grow your personal and expert competences in project management and make sure to stay on the edge on project management knowledge and best practice, sharing proposals for further improvements in project management process and drive their implementation autonomously

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Degree in mechanical or electronical engineering or other similar technical degree
High level of professional knowledge of project management methods (PMP certification or comparable is preferred, if possible on expert level)
At least 5 years of experience in project management job domain or closely related role.
Domain knowledge of product development, preferably in execution and/or advanced development
Experience in the area of domestic appliances or electronic consumer products is preferred.
Fluent in English and Italian
Preferable to have experience in DfSS and FMEA tools and lean principles
