In this role, you have the opportunity to

Service Technician 3 will be required to perform repairs of electro-mechanical RF coils in a service environment. This position requires a working knowledge of AC-DC circuits and the components that make up these circuits. This position requires utilizing various electronic test equipment, such as meters, network analyzers, oscilloscopes and power supplies to troubleshoot electro-mechanical assemblies to the component level.

You are responsible for

  • Verifying complete and correct paperwork for items upon arrival

  • Pre-testing of various incoming products for repair

  • Mechanical assembly / re-assembly

  • Electrical assembly / re-assembly

  • Initializing / completing repair paperwork

  • Tracking repair data / creating and printing repair reports

  • Performing limited troubleshooting on repair items

  • Assisting with fabrication and assembling electronics from schematics, rough sketches, and verbal instructions.

  • Competency with shop equipment and ability to learn and retain instructions

  • Quality orientation and excellent attention to details

  • Ability to use of various electronic equipment (DMM, network analyzer)

  • Technical competence in utilization of complex electronic equipment

  • Ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple assignments

  • Ability to learn and utilize company provided software for tracking purchases, receipt of materials, and return or replacement items

  • Ability to contribute to a positive, cooperative team atmosphere

  • Good time management skills
