Philips Senior Product Manager - Therapy Planning (technical) in Gainesville, Florida

In this role, you have the opportunity to

Formulates the upstream product strategy for the assigned portfolio. Collects and analyzes market information and defines existing market target groups. Formulates the specification of new products based on available technology, components and existing market situation in order to have new products available on short term. Translates a general product plan into clear detailed product specifications for development. Guides the project team in the execution phase of the Product Creation Process (PCP). Drives the market introduction of the new product.

You are responsible for

  • Define the product strategy and roadmap

  • Responsible for the Business Cases inside PROS Therapy Planning System (TPS) Roadmap

  • Deliver use cases, requirements, documentation with prioritized features and corresponding business rationale support.

  • Work with marketing stakeholders, design team and engineering teams to prioritize key decisions about product functionality, balancing appropriate tradeoffs between business goals, user goals, scalability/maintainability, time-to-market, and process efficiency

  • Understand the competition and the landscape of TPS

  • Contributes to develop the core positioning and messaging for the TPS business line (DSM activity)

  • Perform product demonstrations to customers

  • Run beta and Pilot programs together with clinical science

  • Provide inside TPS PROS - Clinical workflow guidance

  • Co - develop sales tools and collateral (main is DSM, technical and business guidance)

  • Brief and train the sales force at periodical sales meetings

  • Owner of Product Management content on the NPI cycle.

  • Steer the Product Development, Launch and Maintenance process (PDLM) from start to end, taking initial ideas through to product development and market introduction.

  • Drive the lifecycle of TPS products by contributing with your marketing views.

  • Act as a leader within the company

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree; MSc or PhD in Medical Physics or equivalent preferred; MBA a plus

  • Technical product management experience: must be able to demonstrate deep knowledge of the therapy planning products and strong familiarity with the clinical life.

  • 5+ years of clinical experience

  • Familiar with Agile Developments

  • Knowledge of international medical physics networks is a plus

  • Expected travel 40 %
