This is senior level Manufacturing Engineering position. The Manufacturing Engineer establishes and directs manufacturing practices, processes, procedures, facilities and ATE equipment for Manufacturing Engineering and production. This position utilizes “lean manufacturing” principles to minimize inventory, maximize throughput, and optimize facility and equipment utilization. Position to support New Product Introductions (NPIs)
You are responsible for:
Provide daily, hands-on support to engineers, assembly and test technicians.
Improve existing manufacturing processes and equipment.
Develop and maintain work instructions, process control procedures and operating procedures.
Support introduction and phase-in\phase-out of products onto the production floor, ensuring manufacturing readiness.
Support as manufacturing engineering lead on NPI (New Product Introductions) releases. Support as a liaison between engineering, supply chain and operations to meet commercialization milestone.
Provide guidance to department on process control procedures, validation activities and operating procedures.
Work closely with product development teams to ensure products are designed for manufacturability and assembly. Perform PFMEA and identify\implement process CTQs for manufacturing with support of Design Engineering
Develop and document validated manufacturing and rework procedures to support product and process improvement initiatives while ensuring part supply availability.
Support nonconforming material investigations through application of engineering analysis, design of experiments, and test engineering.
Achieve annual targets and improvements to metrics related to Safety, People, Quality and NPI delivery (commercialization).
Create and review DCNs, and support implementation and phase-in of product changes.
Establish appropriate methods, tools, equipment, etc. required to produce products in keeping with the Quality Management System and related standards (ISO 13485:2016 and MDSAP).
Conduct time studies and establish labor standards for products.
Perform other duties as assigned by Manufacturing Engineering Manager.

Electro\mechanical assembly trouble-shooting experience preferred
BS degree in Engineering. Preference is for Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Bio-Medical degreed professional
5+ years previous experience as a Manufacturing Engineer within a regulated industry
New Product Introduction\Product Industrialization experience preferred.
