This is senior level Manufacturing Engineering position. The Manufacturing Engineer establishes and directs manufacturing practices, processes, procedures, facilities, tools and ATE equipment for Advanced Manufacturing Engineering and production. This position utilizes “lean manufacturing” principles to minimize inventory, maximize throughput, and optimize facility and equipment utilization.
You are responsible for:
Provide daily, hands-on support to engineers, assembly and test technicians.
Improve existing manufacturing processes and equipment.
Develop and maintain work instructions, process control procedures and operating procedures.
Support introduction and phase-in\phase-out of products onto the production floor, ensuring manufacturing readiness.
Provide guidance to department on process control procedures, validation activities and operating procedures.
Work closely with product development teams to ensure products are designed for manufacturability and assembly. Perform PFMEA and identify\implement process CTQs for manufacturing with support of Design Engineering.
Support cross-functional teams including SQE and Supply Chain on material defects using problem solving methodologies to identify root cause.
Develop and document validated manufacturing and rework procedures to support product and process improvement initiatives while ensuring part supply availability.
Support nonconforming material investigations through application of engineering analysis, design of experiments, and test engineering.
Achieve annual targets and improvements to metrics related to Safety, People, and Quality.
Create and review DCNs, and support implementation and phase in of product changes.
Establish appropriate methods, tools, equipment, etc. required to produce products in keeping with the Quality Management System and related standards (ISO 13485:2016 and MDSAP).
Perform other duties as assigned.
Support productivity improvements.

Possesses a strong working knowledge of manufacturing, including the underlying theories and concepts of manufacturing and product engineering.

A knowledge of manufacturing principles especially in the areas of lean manufacturing and labor planning.
Working knowledge Access or data basing preferred
Experience in developing, drafting, and implementing manufacturing fixtures preferred
Experience in implementation of manufacturing automation and/or robotics preferred
RF Coil and\or electro\mechanical assembly trouble-shooting experience preferred
BS degree in Engineering. Preference is for Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics Engineering, Bio-Medical degreed professional
