In this role, you have the opportunity to lead Engineering content for New Product Introduction Projects for our world-class Avent manufacturing site.
You are responsible for
Leading Engineering content for large Value Stream improvement projects, acting as the single point of contact to the NPI Program Manager
Working with the Value Stream, specify and source new equipment
Calculating CAPEX requirements for projects, budgetary control and reporting
Create detailed project plans with milestones and deliverables. Working cross functionally to secure the correct resource/technical support to deliver an on time, on budget project
Identifying risks to project execution, identifying and managing project dependencies and critical path activities. Presenting leadership with detailed project and risk mitigation.
Conducting project verifications and validations as well as pFMEA reviews
You are a part of a matrixed team of 5 high-performing individuals.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Tried-and-tested project management experience within engineering
Experience with budgeting for CAPEX projects and supplier selection
A deep understanding of LEAN Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles
Design for Manufacturability experience
Injection Moulding experience is a huge advantage
CAD skills are a plus
PMP / Prince2 qualifications are also a huge advantage
An excellent ability to present and communicate information to management, peers, suppliers, and customers
