Philips Warehouse Team Leader in Glemsford, United Kingdom

In this role, you have the opportunity to coordinate an effective warehouse team to actively meet the demands of supply to the factory and shipping out of finished goods in a timely manner.

You are responsible for:

  • Completing a wide range of operations effectively to a high quality standard

  • Adhering to the guidelines laid out in the health & safety policy

  • Identifying continuous improvement opportunities & actively participate in improvement events

  • Staff control, two way communication & motivation including first line attendance control within the team

  • Assisting the group leader in any additional activities as required and step up to take control when the group leader is out

You are a part of a large, experienced warehouse team within a fast-paced and thriving organization, dedicated to improving billions of lives.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:

  • Strong management skills

  • An ability to communicate effectively and confidently

  • Experience undertaking a variety of warehousing tasks, including inventory accuracy and upholding compliance standards

  • An ability to be flexible with regards to working hours and shifts

  • A forklift license is desirable but training will be given

  • Knowledge with SAP desirable
