Clinical Scientist – MR Korea
In this role, you have the opportunity to
Collaborate with medical doctors and physicists of large academic hospitals by shaping, coordinating and executing research projects evaluating new medical applications of Magnetic Resonance (MR) in Radiation Oncology. The scientist supports product marketing and development departments by providing expertise and advice on technical and clinical aspects of MR and hybrid MR modalities
You are responsible for
Responsible for all the MR related researches in appointed area and hospitals.
Collaborate with medical doctors and physicist to provide technical supports for customers’ publication or abstract submission to international/domestic medical/MR journals
Connect Korean KOLs with global KOLs to join global clinical trial or to share newly developed SW.
Find out hot MR research trends and topics and try to provide such new SW/Sequence for KOLs.
Manage a whole research process in the research regulations
Organize user meeting/ Conference/study group and provide Sales support regarding research topics and make presentation regarding research or WIP topics at conference/ user meeting/product introduction meeting.
Work with global clinical science team to facilitate clinical science activities.
Keep up to date with innovations in MR technology and medical applications, via scientific literature, symposia and international conferences
Advise colleagues in Sales and Service department on new clinical and technical developments
Assist with first-line helpdesk support for research related questions
Participate in customer presentations and demonstrations. Regularly visit Clinical Science test sites; discuss innovations with medical doctors
Develop new SWs or pulse sequences for customers’ researches (*option) You are a part of The MR Therapy Clinical Science team collaborates with top academic and medical centers around the world at the forefront of innovation in MR-guided Radiotherapy. The team consists of globally distributed Clinical Scientists who serve as the link between our research collaborators and our R&D. To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Master degree level or above education in medical physics / biomedical engineering
Experience in MR research at hospitals/research centers and MR Physics knowledge
Strong track record of scientific publications and presentations highly desired
Experience in a clinical environment (e.g. radiology or cardiology department)
Communication skills (interaction with customers, sales & service organization, headquarters), including ability to communicate effectively with members of multidisciplinary teams
Strong analytical and experimental skills, independent problem solver
Fluent in English
