Philips Physical Distribution Manager (Logistics) in Seoul,

[Key Areas of Responsibilities]

  • Accountable to manage inbound material flow and plan transport and deliver outbound products in a timely and accurate manner, ensure continuous improvement of warehouse performance

  • Operate warehouse and managing the security and accountability of inventory through transaction documentation, process and procedure verification, and system review, as also audit of incoming and outgoing shipments.

  • Responsible for the maintenance and compilation of documents for the purpose of data entry and following up in the event of discrepancies and ensuring compliance with appropriate regulations and policies and timely and accurate resolution of issues that may arise.

  • Ensure reverse logistics is managed and salvage activities are performed

  • Supervision, selection, coaching and evaluation of team personnel to ensure operational efficiency.

  • Proactively review current cost spending and find any gaps compare to industry standard and recommend cost effective process/solutions. CLM will pursue cost saving opportunity not only known opportunity but also potential opportunities and lead internal/external project & discussion to realize cost saving opportunities.

[Qualifications and Desired Characteristics]

  • Min. 10 years- experience in Logistics operation (FMCG industry experience will be plus)

  • Deep level understanding in SAP system, EDI interface and business IT knowledge

  • Experience in managing 3PLs (regional experience will be plus); Warehousing & Distribution

  • Able to operate in dynamic environment with high interaction levels

  • Self-starter, able to drive changes in complex environment

  • Good communication skills, fluent in English
