Responsible for the day to day management of the IGT and DXR Applications team

Responsible to ensure that customers (e.g. end-users, technicians, operators) are properly trained to optimally use the equipment delivered, installed and handed over by Philips Healthcare and maximizing customer satisfaction in the assigned Business Lines.

  • Manage IGT and DXR applications team

  • Ensure maximum utilisation of Applications specialists to drive customer satisfaction

  • Drive and monitor full use of reporting tools

  • Develop the team for more productivity and increased skills

  • Drive increased NPS through tailored applications

  • Create Advanced Applications packages

  • Pre sales support

  • Set up application training schedules, in close cooperation with the customer

  • Train customers in applying the best possible clinical procedures and protocols to achieve optimal usage of the delivered equipment

  • (re-)Train hospital staff in case of new releases and / or versions (changes) in the operating procedures of the equipment

  • Ensure that all customers are provided with high quality training and attention so that each customer is fully satisfied with the attention received from Philips Healthcare (PH)

  • Report to PH on difficulties in optimal usage of the equipment

  • Responsible for delivering customized (competency based) training material pack – if / when required

  • Support user group meetings if / when required

  • Conduct regular visits to customers to obtain direct feedback from them about the quality of the training delivery and the customer satisfaction

  • Support and advise the sales force during acquisition

  • Stay "on track" with the new developments in the clinical application and operating field of the relevant equipment

  • Be aware and to manage at all times the safety standards required by the company, including radiation protection, health and safety regulations. In the event of hazards or accidents, to take immediate control of the situation and involve the safety advisor from the regional office

  • Ensure that all clinical applications training, with both new and existing customers, complies with the company's quality policy

  • Responsible for reporting customer feedback according to applicable quality standard policy and follow up relevant assigned quality & regulatory training in a timely manner

In this role, you have the opportunity to

Lead a team of dedicated Clinical Applications Consultants across the IGT and DXR modality areas from a UK wide perspective, ensuring that customers are trained optimally in the use of Philips equipment and systems maximizing the end customer satisfaction and Philips business opportunities.

You are responsible for

  • Ensuring the maximum utilization of the applications specialist team to drive customer engagement

  • Being the escalation point for first line queries from customers

  • Aligning with the sales team for pre-sales support and creating advanced applications packages

  • Designing and implementing streamlined training schedules

  • Support customers with onsite training when required

You are a part of

A team of 8 applications specialists based throughout the whole of the UK, as such regular travel will be require in the role.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Qualified & experienced radiographer with a clinical background

  • Existing or prior people manager, with experience of leading a growing team of direct reports

  • Time management skills, with flexibility to travel Mon-Fri throughout the UK

  • Project management mindset, capable to balancing workloads and prioritizing business critical needs correctly

  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal

Please note this is a remotely based position working from home, but requiring frequent travel 80% - 90% of the time throughout the whole of the UK.
