In this role, you have the opportunity to;

Join one of the fastest growing business units within Philips for our Patient Care Monitoring Solutions (PCMS) business.

Promoting Philips Healthcare products & systems in the assigned district. In addition, the Applications Specialist ensures that customers (e.g. end-users, technicians, operators) are properly trained to optimally use the equipment delivered, installed and handed over by Philips Healthcare and maximizing customer satisfaction in the assigned district.

You are responsible for;

  • Delivering expert knowledge and advice on using Philips Patient Monitoring systems equipment and software

  • Designing and delivering training to clinicians following purchase or upgrade of the Patient Monitoring system.

  • Demonstrating the benefits of the product during client meetings, and explaining how this will enhance the clinical experience

  • Application support – providing any post installation support to all customers for usage queries.

You are a part of a team of 13 applications specialists, reporting into the Clinical Services Manager.

This position will require 80% of time spent on customer visits, with the remaining time working from home. The ideal candidate will be based in Wales, the South-West, London or the South-East, however all candidates meeting the below criteria will be considered.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience;

  • Clinical qualification in nursing (ideally with as a specialist in high acuity care) or similar medical technical area

  • In-depth knowledge and experience of Invasive & non-invasive ventilation products

  • Interest in medical technology and integrated operating systems

  • A number of years’ experience in a clinical field using invasive & non-invasive ventilation devices would be preferable.

  • Experience in clinical field using patient monitoring devices would be advantageous.

  • Fluent in English, verbal and written in addition to local language.
