Philips D2C - Marketing Manager - Sleep and Respiratory Care in Guildford, United Kingdom

You will be responsible for building, implementing and monitoring the marketing strategy for new business channels for SRC. This will include:

  • Development and activation of all online channels.

  • Development of pharmacy strategy.

  • Development of direct to consumer marketing across Sleep, Healthy Sleep & Asthma categories.

  • Classic product marketing for the RDD category including B2C and B2B.

To be able to create solutions to drive the business you will need to work closely with:

  • Key SRC stakeholders at a market and business level.

  • Broader PH business for experience and channel management.

  • M20 and UK BCD for assets and activation support.

  • Key customers within the NHS

  • Global brand and communications teams.

You will need to be numerate, analytical, demonstrate negotiation skills and be able to show conviction in your plans. You will need to have had at least 5 years marketing in a consumer environment including understanding retailers on and offline.

n this role, you have the opportunity to drive a completely new strategy for our Sleep and Respiratory care business, through direct to consumer and retailer channels.

The Marketing Manager will be responsible for engaging in the direct to consumer space for the first time for both diagnosed and undiagnosed patients. This role predominantly focuses on our sleep category.

This role will be based from our Guildford office 4 days a week with 1 day at our Chichester site.

You are responsible for

  • Development and activation of all online channels.

  • Development of pharmacy strategy.

  • Development of direct to consumer marketing across Sleep, Healthy Sleep & Asthma categories.

  • Classic product marketing for the Respiratory Drug Delivery category including B2C and B2B.

  • Business and brand management of the Channel, working with Business Group to agree short, medium and long term marketing strategy

  • Leads Category in the market, responsible for the P&L and market share through effective optimisation of the marketing mix

  • Generates consumer demand for Philips’ products within the direct to consumer and retail channel

  • Champions Channel strategy and understanding across wider business (Sales, Trade Marketing, Operations, Consumer Care)

  • Build brand equity; own brand look & feel within the respective category

  • Leverage internal relationships across the wider Personal Health business to open up opportunities with retailers

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Professional knowledge of marketing strategy and planning within the D2C space

  • Ability to understand and manage a full Profit & Loss account

  • Understanding of consumer motivations & insights

  • Business case development experience

  • Influencing, stakeholder management and analytical skills

  • Works with and manages relationships with external agencies

  • Experience in campaign development, planning and delivery

  • Managing projects for multiple initiatives within own category
