Philips Dental Sales and Support Representative in Guildford, United Kingdom

We have an exciting opportunity for a Dental Sales and Support Representative to work within our Personal Health division based from our Offices in Guildford, Surrey. The Dental Sales and Support Representative will be working within our Oral Healthcare Department focusing on sales directly to Dental Professionals. Our portfolio in the UK & Ireland encompasses power toothbrushes, power flossing, tooth whitening and oral hygiene.

We are looking for individuals with a passion for customer services, ideally with existing inside / tele sales experience.

You are responsible for

  • Building and maintaining relationships with dental professionals in order to sell Philips Oral Healthcare products to dental practices.

  • Fully understanding the science behind the products, usages and the market.

  • Managing inbound calls by returning calls within 24 hours following up with appropriate person either internally or externally.

  • Managing outbound calls in order to generate new sales, repeat sales, maintaining business in conjunction with Territory Business Managers calls to practice.

  • Managing customer expectations in respect of warranty replacements and returns – referring to appropriate party.

  • Investigation & resolution of customer queries/requests

  • Attending local, regional and national trade shows as defined by business needs.

  • Managing portfolio by setting objectives for each call to maximize territory business plans.

  • Maintaining daily standards and expectations in regards to professionalism and behaviour in line with Philips values.

  • Up to date completion of all administrative duties in relation to role including but no limited to system notes/updates, customer service follow up, customer collections, credit/debit requests

  • Liaison with marketing to obtain new Marcom update and communicate to MMC contact.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Strong team player

  • Experience of Microsoft Office application

  • Excellent communication skills

  • The ability to manage stakeholders

  • Strong phone presence

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong listening and presentation skills

  • The ability to multi-task, prioritise and manage time effectively

  • Sales experience preferable

In return, we offer you

A Base Salary is up to £23,000. Base Salary is one element of the overall Total Reward Package at Philips therefore the actual annual compensation is competitive and depends on skills and performance, including quarterly sales incentive and annual sales incentive.
