Philips E-Commerce Campaign Manager in Guildford, United Kingdom

Your challenge

As Campaign Manager you are responsible for the development and delivery of marketing campaigns, including the full mix of offline and online media campaigns and always-on campaigns. This role will focus on eCommerce therefore it would be preferable for the candidate to have experience with Amazon Media. The core objectives of the role are to drive consumer demand, lead generation, market positioning, brand awareness, thought-leadership, and overall drive the performance of digital and non-digital marketing channels through both the optimization of communication, and development of a creative and innovative digital strategy.

The Campaign manager needs to have a good understanding of e-commerce and general business management principles such as product mix, P&L management, market dynamics, competitor dynamics, customer dynamics, pricing and promotion.

The core challenge is to manage the campaign deployment process while delivering on the sales objectives cascaded by the responsible marketing manager.

Your responsibilities

  • Manage, plan, execute and optimise the overall category/brand digital strategy to increase brand awareness, consumer engagement and grow profitable revenue.

  • Be the overall campaign manager across all activation activities while ensuring consistency and integration across all communication touchpoints (both online and offline).

  • Lead the e-commerce activation from both day-to day campaign planning as well as driving the strategic vision with key media partners.

  • Own and lead full mix of digital and non-digital marketing campaigns, setting clear KPIs and working with creative and media agencies to optimise on a weekly basis.

  • Act as primary interface to the Marketing community to coordinate with relevant local functions SEO, PR, CRM, Analytics, Social and global activation teams.

  • Coordinate with external and internal agencies to create fit for purpose assets to power campaign media plans and drive increased return on investment.

  • Provide strategic support/consultancy to marketing and sales teams.

  • Ensure the growth of the Philips owned domains such as the brand website and the Philips online shop.

  • Ensure marketing campaigns support marketing sales objectives.

Your team

The position reports into the Campaign Manager Lead with direct accountability to the marketing managers and sits within the Brand, Communication and Digital Team.

  • Strong communication skills to manage a vast array of internal & external stakeholders.

  • Project management skills to coordinate across multiple activities and multiple teams inputting to the marketing campaigns.

  • Online and offline media management skills to ensure efficient budget spend.

  • Content creation and optimisation skills based on understanding of the consumer decision journey but also based on data driven insights.

  • Analytical – able to understand, interpret & leverage data to optimise content, media, messaging and audiences.

  • Organised – ability to consistently deliver projects on time, with quality and within budget.

  • Marketing basics – experience and understanding of how to identify & leverage local insights to define & target the right consumers, be able to develop and bring to life superior value propositions, ability to write effective agency briefs including technical requirements and to evaluate performance vs. that brief.
