In this role, you have the opportunity to work with the UK business/functions to understand data requirements and conduct analyses to deliver insight and solutions.
You are responsible for translating numbers into plain English to give clear visualisations, which will help enable decision makers to make smarter and faster decisions aligned to the business objectives.
Consolidating a variety of complex data sources from numerous providers into simple, powerful reporting dashboards that are shared with key stakeholders .
Works with data agencies to ensure data feeds are accurate and optimised for simple data retrieval.
Work with stakeholders to contribute to improvements in established reporting methods and analyse complex data sets to meet business needs
Play a leading role on data projects and work effectively in partnership with the Business to deliver defined data Insight solutions on time and on budget.
Influence and drive business best practice to ensure alignment and compliance with data governance and external regulatory standards (such as GDPR).
Maintains awareness of emerging technologies, industry trends, and data & analytics best practices.
Responsible for delivering training sessions to maximize usage of the reporting/analytical tools available to the business.
You are a part of Analytics and Data Visualisation team and report to the Data Visualisation Manager. You will be based at our head office in Guildford.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience :
Educated to degree level (or equivalent) – in a maths or science field
Advanced analytical skills with demonstrated ability to problem solve.
Able to use actionable insights to drive business decisions.
Proven interpersonal skills to advise and influence a complex, networked business
Experience (or willingness to learn!) of using a range of Data Analytics tools – ClickView, ClickSense, Hadoop, Tableau, and data science and visualisation tools (Python, Prezzi, SQL etc)
