Philips Performance Marketing Executive in Guildford, United Kingdom


In this role, you have the opportunity to

The Performance Marketing Executive is part of the Brand, Communications, Digital and Events team reporting into the Performance Marketing Manager for the UK&I. You will be part of a dynamic team and you will have close interaction with the Campaign & Media, Marketing and Sales teams to create a test-to-invest efficient search marketing model.

You are responsible for

  • Day-to-day running of Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) and Pay Per Click (PPC) channels, including deployment of Performance Marketing Strategy as defined by the Performance Marketing Manager

  • Optimise to (Return on Advertising Spend) ROAS and monitor budgets and search performance against targets

  • Maximise visibility, rank, (Click Through Rate) CTR and site conversion

  • Support web team with end-to-end A/B tests to increase effectiveness of campaigns

  • Analyse data and proposals for improvement of the customer decision journey and conversion

  • Conduct keyword analysis and share best practice between channels (SEO & PPC)

  • Weekly and monthly reporting of KPIs to the business, ensuring continuation of high performance

  • Identify future opportunities within search, support the Performance Marketing Manager to create an end-to-end testing plan that will optimise performance

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Previous experience in Search marketing (PPC & SEO), with a proven track record in reducing CPC and increasing ROAS

  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interrogate data and utilise learnings for optimisation

  • Experience working with Adobe Analytics, DoubleClick Campaign Manager and Google Ads

  • Hands-on experience managing both PPC & SEO channels

  • Experience in driving traffic and understanding of various digital buying methods (i.e. CPC, CPA)

  • Demonstrable experience of campaign optimisation and A/B or Multivariate Testing (MVT) testing

  • Excellent communication skills able to influence others, with a strong customer focus

  • Strong in internal and external stakeholder management

  • Agency management experience desirable, but not essential

  • Fluent in English
