Philips Back In The Game- Key Account Manager in Gurgaon, India


Back in the Game (BIG) is an internship initiative driven by the Diversity Council at Philips India. It is a 3 months paid internship program to facilitate experienced women talent transition back into the workplace after a break in their career.

Position – Key Account Manager – Online


  • Managing e Tailers and marketplaces such as Amazon and eBay, Flipkart, Snapdeal etc.

  • Brand, Product & Pricing strategy to address to ever evolving E Commerce Market place and ensure minimum conflict in the overall eco-system

  • Development of Market place sellers network

  • Content development and enhancement to improve consumer experience of the Brand

  • Social media planning and leveraging high traffic promotion properties on portals

  • Negotiating, managing price alignments throughout the e-markets

  • Channel Marketing: defining and executing a yearly marketing plan for online sales

  • Marketing analytics: making sure the performance is tracked; measuring and reporting ROI

  • Sales forecasting, monitoring sales results and reporting

  • Cross-functional collaboration with marketing, sales, logistics and finance teams

  • Searching for new online sales channels

  • Coordinating and executing new e Tailers and marketplaces launches

  • Setting up KPIs, driving analysis of e Retailer’s performances

  • Content management: analyzing e Tailers websites and creating recommendations plans for improvement and execution

  • Planning: business planning, option planning, exclusive line launches, mix of new and old season capacity and sales planning

  • Sales, operation and logistic: Season launch, full price sales, inventory handling and liquidation, analyzing competitors, P&L

  • Marketing: Partner marketing and budgeting, driving ROI through proper selection of properties, measurement of matrices


  • Proficiency in e-Commerce, merchandising and marketplace management

  • MBA degree in Marketing, Advertising, Economics or a related discipline

  • Strong financial and analytical skills

  • Strong leadership skills, flexible team player

  • Excellent presentation and communications skills, both written and verbal

  • Experience in Key Account management, sales, and marketing

Position – Key Account Manager – Modern Trade


  • Responsible for the tertiary and growth targets assigned for the region for Personal Health range of products

  • KPI’s include market share, growth, store targets, stock availability & display hygiene

  • Implementing marketing campaigns, designed consumer schemes, ensured stock planning based on store size, type & other geographical & demographic factors

  • Responsible for successful execution of marketing activities(BTL) in liaison with marketing

  • Responsible for managing relationship and influencing the regional retailer buyers for new launch plans, placements and visibility across the stores

  • Review sales data and trend by partner to suggest and implement strategies to achieve desired sales targets

  • Liaison with the trade shopper marketing team for planning and execution of all trade marketing activities for new product launches and brand promotion to get the desired brand visibility

  • Organizing training programs for regional channel partners at cluster and store levels for all the categories

  • Responsible for meeting the in store teams and discuss sales performance, plan for opportunities, monitor competition activities and provide feedback to take timely and suitable action

  • Assist TSM team for recruitment, training and motivation of the In-shop promoters to enable them drive the business goals


  • Experience & knowledge of Modern Trade

  • Good inter-personal skills

  • Knowledge about various sales techniques

  • Working Knowledge of Computer

  • The incumbent should be “street-smart”

  • The incumbent should have on-the-feet thinking
