Philips AMI R&D Director in Haifa, Israel


In this role, you have the opportunity to

Drive the strategic product technology road map of AMI organization.

You are responsible for

  • Deliver impact by technical influence- Sitting on top of the product roadmaps and what must be in from a technical perspective

  • Coordinating a network cross-functionally and resolving issues to achieve business goals and objectives, Driving execution of product development plans

  • Establishing technical and/or product roadmaps, Defining strategic directions, Identifying technical trends and pipelines, Communicating the strategies and visions within and across the organization

  • Understand external factors including: Regulatory, Customers, Competition, and Industry trends

  • Responsible for product deliverable including: Delivery of all contracted features, time , budget, quality, Ensure budgetary compliance

  • OEM partnerships – the key person to represent the R&D function with OEM partnerships, to make sure the spect technology is align with Philips expectations.

  • Awareness of PMO to deliver on the execution of the programs.

  • Work collaboratively with AMI marketing and strategic org to set some of the business direction.

  • Enables process management including: Support for all global initiatives, Prioritization of team goals, Enable adequate coverage for deliverables, Build and promote strong processes, Drives accountability across the team

  • Exemplifies global thinking including: Promoting openness to learning things and leverage others’ capabilities, Sharing capabilities across global locations, Building an environment of trust

You are a part of

The global R&D Leadership of CT/AMI business unit

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent.

  • 10+ years of experience working as an Engineer

  • Significant experience in a senior R&D role in the PET or premium SPECT space

  • Strong understanding of the AMI/ PET CT/ SPECT products technology and market

  • Clear ability to manage by influence
