In this role, you have the opportunity to
lead a multi-modality clinical domain for a radiology advance visualization solution and investigate the domain to define the customer needs. Main responsibilities include identifying customer needs in the Cardiovascular-Imaging field, developing innovative concepts for new products, collaborating with key opinion leaders to evaluate new capabilities and publish clinical proof papers.
Position is available in two locations: Haifa site, Israel & Eindhoven site, Netherlands
You are responsible for
Developing a deep understanding of the CVS domain, focused on imaging procedures and radiology workflow. Identifing trends and user needs and keeping up to date in innovation and competition in that field
Formulating concepts for innovative solutions. Methodologically evaluating the ideas with customers and working with Marketing to create the value proposition
Contributing to the clinical roadmap of the product, being the ambassador of these new solutions within\outside the organization to assure proper priority and attention
For selected solutions, providing high level requirements and clinical insights to the clinical specialists creating the detailed requirements, also providing support to the development teams throughout the development lifecycle
Creating and publishing clinical proof papers for new solutions and marketing claims
Creating and maintaining relationship with key customers, collaborating with customer in order to evaluate new concepts and prototypes of new solutions
Identifing required research\ algorithmic needs, initiating activities and performing clinical evaluations
Contributing to the enhancement of clinical understanding within the R&D department: providing training sessions, clinical updates, share customer insights, new developments, etc.
You are a part of
ICAP Clinical Science team
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
At least 3 years’ experience in the Medical devices industry, preferably CVS or Imaging Systems
At least 3 years’ experience as a clinical scientist
PhD of Science in Medical Science/bio-medical engineering or substantial industry experience in the CVS field, preferably software oriented
Proven record of innovation creation and customer collaboration
Excellent Presentation Skills
Strong analytical skills (analyzing feasibilities studies and ways of working within hospitals)
Ability to work in a global team with various disciplines
Aware of business interests and effects
Fluent in English, more languages much appreciated
Willing to travel
