Philips E2E Transformation Manager in Haifa, Israel


In this role, you have the opportunity to

be responsible for supporting the CT-AMI Business Unit in achieving business results through the application of the Philips Excellence Continuous Improvement toolkit which includes Daily Management, Philips PRIDE Problem Solving methodology, Lean, Kaizen, and Standard Work.

You are responsible for

  • Support of CT AMI business in Haifa, including Quality & Regulatory, Procurement and Supply Chain, and Research & Development and their interface with manufacturing in the Haifa Facility

  • Supporting Operational Hoshin owners in Haifa on the development and maintenance of strategic Target’s to Improve (TTI’s) and their associated action plans

  • Acting as a facilitator, the BT Manager will support these initiatives through the application of Business Excellence tools including, Daily Management, Philips PRIDE Problem Solving methodology, Lean, process standardization, facilitation of Kaizen events and other improvement activities

  • Act as a change agent and is expected to mentor, train and coach all members of the team and broader organization, introducing the appropriate methodology and tools required to achieve sustained breakthrough improvements in the areas of Quality & Regulatory, Manufacturing Operations & Logistics, Purchasing, Research & Development and Sales & Marketing as defined in the Hoshin plan.

  • Facilitate individual and team based initiatives associated with the overall business at both a strategic and tactical level

  • Work with a varying degree of business associates from the production floor to the Business Unit General Manager level, providing guidance and analysis in support of the overall business unit’s strategic objectives.

  • Provide direction and support to the various members of the Haifa BT team assigning duties to support the Operation’s Hoshin plan and Operational performance issues. Included in these duties will be the development of the team member’s skillset around Hoshin, Daily Management, Problem Solving and the use of the Philips PRIDE model.

You are a part of

Global Business Transformation team, reporting to Business Transformation Director for CT/AMI based in Cleveland, Ohio.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • 7-10 years’ of Lean and Continuous Improvement work experience in a global company with demonstrated results in transforming teams in the areas of Research & Development, Quality & Regulatory and Supply Chain

  • Relevant academic degree, advanced degree preferred

  • Track record in the facilitation of successful process improvements with sustained results in the development and transfer of designs into manufacturing

  • Experience in training, coaching, mentoring internal and external team members in the use and application of Lean tools and methods

  • Kaizen Chartering, event Facilitation and funnel management

  • Strong communications & interpersonal skills

  • Self-starter with drive, determination, focus, & initiative

  • Ability to achieve goals independently across multiple facilities, teams and cultures

  • Executive presentation skills

  • Project Management experience

  • Willing to travel internationally as needed, up to 15% of the time
