Philips Financial Controller in Haifa, Israel

The Financial Controller will provide financial and accounting leadership to various Philips business organizations in Israel.

Your responsibilities:

  • Provide financial leadership to +$200M worth of business

  • Monitor the financial position of the respective business organizations.

  • Identify risks and opportunities to current financial projections and suggest corrective actions where needed.

  • Lead business efforts in any finance related issue.

  • Drive SOX internal control efforts

  • Orchestrate the financial business planning process: strategic review, budget, rolling forecasts, monthly performance reporting.

  • Partner with the respective business managers with on time insights regarding their financial performance

  • Drive monthly results analysis versus plan and forecast, and analyze P&L variances.

  • Perform business case analysis per requirement.

  • Support the Head of Finance, Israel with strategic decisions by means of sound business analysis (business modeling, opportunity & risk assessments, scenario analysis, etc.) and an “outside in” focus.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

Minimum:

  • Degree in Economics or Business Administration or other relevant education with a strong emphasis in Economics-mandatory

  • CPA- mandatory

  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in financial related positions in industrial companies with substantial R&D.

  • SOX internal control experience

  • Experience from Multinational organization

  • Excellent English Skills

  • Wide experience in participating and presenting to senior leadership forums.

Preferred:

  • Experience from Healthcare related industries

  • Knowledge with SAP system

  • Experience with R&D accounting and financial support
