The Global ICAP Business Development Manager is a pivotal role in the Imaging Clinical Applications and Platforms (ICAP) Business Innovation Unit. This role will:
Proactively seeks and secures client development opportunities to drive ICAP annual operating plan, and address technology incorporation or partnerships to meet client unmet needs through:Internal Partnerships: Understands Philips’ internal/business unmet needs which ICAP can satisfy to be subsequently commercialized by the businesses (BIUs). Negotiates with internal BIUs for financial commitments, business models and agreements to drive ICAP annual operating plan. Works closely with the BD roles within the various internal client businesses. External Partnerships: Seeks external technologies/solutions enabling ICAP to provide clinical, intelligence and workflow solutions to our Philips BIU clients. This can include acquisitions, strategic partnerships, and/or third party relationships. Collaboration with relevant product managers, assess and determine potential technologies (build/buy/partner analysis), works closely with HI BD team on partnership/financial arrangements, and oversee general execution of whatever relationship ICAP has with those companies. Works closely with the BD roles within the various client businesses.
Supports business opportunity assessments and financial modeling, including value proposition creation, business models, etc.
Supports ICAP strategy (SPOR) and influence strategic and executional roadmaps for both ICAP and HI.

You are a part of
The Imaging Clinical Applications and Platforms (ICAP) Business Unit, reports to the ICAP Senior Director of Marketing, and works directly with the ICAP Business Operations, product management team and other marketing functions to ensure the products/solutions are developed, introduced and delivered to customers (internal and external) in accordance to agreements. The person in this role is required to have significant past experience and expertise in Radiology and/or Healthcare IT, business development, market segmentation, competitive strategy, and basic financials.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Bachelor’s in Healthcare or Business-related field. MBA preferred.
5+ years in business development, marketing, product management or related field
Experience in healthcare IT solutions
Excellent customer-facing skills and passionate about customer needs/interests
Strong financial acumen
Proven presentation skills
Understanding of healthcare marketing dynamics (key opinion leaders, key society meetings, etc…)
Boldness to create/shape new markets, exploiting Philips technologies, market positions and company brand
Ability to influence an organization to agree, invest and incorporate external technologies, and/or consider for acquisition or other strategic partnership
Proven ability to work in a global environment
Ability to travel globally up to 25%
