In this role, you have the opportunity to
support Mechanical Engineers in all mechanical components & sub-components design within the DMS sub-system.
Starting from the initial design to the preliminary design, critical design, prototypes, manufacturing transfer and full manufacturing support
You are responsible for
Mechanical design – 3D models, Material definition, producing drawings, prototype manufacturing and production transfer
Testing, troubleshooting, and documenting of mechanical units/subsystems of small to medium scope
Development of modeling, simulation and analysis. Produces the design requirements and designs for DMS Mechanical
Troubleshooting of DMS mechanical problems. Ability to evaluate & define the design correction.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
B.sc Mechanical Engineering student
Grade average: 80+ At least two years left before graduating
Good English skills – Verbal and written
Ability to work at least 18 hours per week (not including Friday)
Knowledge in mechanical design
Knowledge in 3D software (Creo or Solidworks) - Advantage
