In this role, you have the opportunity to
Drive all activities resulting in realization of a new platform/product and supporting the development of an existing one. The program manager role is to lead a complex program including the management of multiple contractors, the system integration, and compliance with quality and regulatory requirements. In addition, continue to support and further upgrade a prototype photon-counting CT system in Lyon University and assist their pre-clinical and clinical research.
You are responsible for
Ensuring smooth execution according to internal and external commitments, including the deliveries of multiple contractors, Philips research in Hamburg and Eindhoven, CT R&D partners, and Q&R
Overall technical leadership and responsibility for the realization of major evolution/version
Defining user needs and translating to user requirements including clinical, serviceability, reliability and manufacturability
System realization including managing contractors as well as identifying and driving the qualification of future suppliers
Hands-on work on the system including installation (HW and SW) and verification
Ensuring compliance with Philips QMS and with regulatory
Harmonizing common features, system functions and improvement solutions across relevant products
Is the liaison for every system and subsystem contributing to the PhC program
Interfaces and manage production, service innovation, and contractors
You are a part of
Photon counting (PhC) based CT is likely to become the leading edge technology of the premium CT market, enabling ultra-high resolution, low dose, and advanced applications beyond current single and dual energy CT systems. The advanced development (AD) group in Philips CT is in charge of the development of a fully clinical CT scanner based on PhC technology.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Demonstrated ability in leading complex system development "from the ground up"
Academic degree (1st or higher) in Engineering: Mechanical/Electrical/Software or related areas
Additional MBA degree is an advantage
10 years of experience in several engineering areas and systems
Minimum 4 years of experience in leading complex, multi-disciplined developments
Minimum 4 years of intensive experience in system engineering of medical devices
Proven excellence in technical leadership in a matrix environment, including demonstrated ability to influence indirect resources
Proven excellence in project management including negotiation and management of contractors and suppliers
Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
Excellent technical writing and presentation skills to multiple levels of management
Fluency in English
