Philips Senior SW Engineer in Haifa, Israel

In this role, you have the opportunity to be responsible for the design and implementation of the next generation RWS product.

You are responsible for

  • Understanding and analyzing requirements

  • Contributing to estimation, list tasks to be done

  • Contributing or own design

  • Promoting innovation activities and keeping abreast of state-of-the-art technologies in the domain

  • Understanding existing code/designing and performing impact analysis

  • Implementing modules as per tasks assigned by feature lead, follow coding guidelines

  • Work is done around Scaled Agile methodologies

  • Taking initiative to work out design issues.

  • Conforms and contributes to the departmental and project procedures and processes (documentation, code or schematics, verification).

  • Guiding and supervising less experienced colleagues and trainees

You are a part of RWS (Radiology Workspace Solution) is a product aimed to intelligently manage the different radiology department workflows in terms of automatic exam reading assignment/prioritization, reading/reporting review workflow and providing a zero footprint client for the day to day radiologist work-list and department administrator tasks.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • 4+ years of experience in SW development

  • Experience in software development of multidisciplinary complex systems

  • Proven software engineering skills using .Net/C#/Java/C++ Experience in Web Development, HTML5, Javascript, Typescript, Angular- Advantage

  • Experience in developing Healthcare IT SW - Advantage

  • Proven Project management background including Agile & SAFe experience

  • Ability to lead without authority , Proven influencing skills (drive, leadership)

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with English fluency
