Philips Verification Engineer in Haifa, Israel

In this role, you have the opportunity to design, develop scripts for UI tests, and execute methods of testing and troubleshooting new systems and products. Analyse test results and the cause of errors.

You are responsible for

  • Test Design for the team deliveries from the 1st stage of the feature definition and Design.

  • Execution of the test scenarios manually and developing its automation.

  • Seeking out expertise, knowledge, and resources to develop solutions to problems.

  • Developing the test environment and setting up regression and integration tests, as well as verification and acceptance tests, as required in the projects.

  • Working, thinking and acting as a System tester with other Development teams to improve the product testability.

  • Analyzing test results, analyzing the cause of errors, and giving feedback to the Development Engineers, reporting results to project management.

  • Writing automation script for UI testing

  • Running manual and automation tests.

  • Identifying & triaging UI inconsistencies and visual design defects.

  • Writing bug report and openning defect with highly attention to small details.

  • Reporting and tracking defect using TFS

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Working experience in agile methodology.

  • At least 2 years of experience in planning, testes writing and tests methodology.

  • Ability to complete assigned responsibilities independently and on time.

  • Experience in UI based tests in a client server software configuration.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with English fluency.
