Develop, implement and validate innovative medical image reconstruction technologies and algorithms employing modern tools of machine learning, deep learning and convolutional neural networks
Collaborate in interdisciplinary projects with our business partners to transfer research results into tailored reconstruction solutions of high clinical relevance
Balance the clinical, technological and commercial challenges alike related to the advancement of complex technical medical systems
Develop and drive your own ideas for technological advances in the above and adjacent domains
We are looking for a highly motivated, innovative collegue with excellent team-working skills who strives to deliver exceptional results.
PhD in computer science, physics, mathematics or the engineering sciences (PhD in machine/deep learning as a plus)
Solid knowledge of medical imaging physics, the theory of inverse problems and tomographic image reconstruction
Broad experience in machine learning, deep learning and convolutional neural networks and familiarity with deep learning frameworks (e.g. Theano, Caffe, TensorFlow, CNTK, or Torch)
A genuine passion for technology
Proficiency in modern programming languages and massive parallel processing (C++, CUDA, Python etc.)
Proficiency in the English language
