Philips Sales Leader Personal Health DACH (m/w/d) in Hamburg, Germany

In this role you have the opportunity to

lead our Personal Health DACH sales team and will be responsible for the sales of the full portfolio of Philips Personal Health: Oral Healthcare, Mother and Childcare, Male Grooming, Beauty und Domestic Appliances. Together with your team, you will drive the collaboration and joint business planning with our key customers through outstanding multi-channel (online- and offline) sales strategies and execution.

You are responsible for

  • leading the sales team of Philips Personal Health DACH. Together with your team, you are the interface of Philips to our retailers and sales partners and you will drive the implementation of our activations with our key accounts.

  • holding full responsibility for the sales results and accordingly develop the underpinning and implementation of the customer sales plans (responsible for sales and trade investments) including accountability for the profitability of the key accounts for Philips.

  • leading the annual negotiations with top accounts and support channel and key account managers in their negotiations.

  • developing and executing the strategic account plans using category-based brand selling and effective negotiation approaches together with your team.

  • driving customer-focused selling and acting as a change agent to drive the customer service level via operational excellence in demand and activation planning within the DACH sales community.

  • helping the team to build a 360°understanding of the customer (market context, channel and sub-channel, competitors, shoppers) including a deep understanding of the customers’ business, strategies & goals.

  • with your supportive leadership style, developing and coaching your team (focus on sell-out based activation planning and data analytics, ROI analysis of activities on pricing, portfolio and promotion, development of strategic account plans, joint business planning, business development and new business models in sales, further driving the digital transformation).

  • Together with the Head of Trade Shopper Marketing and the Head of Marketing PH, driving the commercial triangle to reach effectiveness of the whole team and steer optimal collaboration.

  • initializing new business opportunities in DACH, looking at new channels, customers and sales business models.

  • facilitating the close collaboration between channel teams in DACH to ensure coherent plan implementation and mutual learning sharing.

  • closely collaborating with the international key account teams to ensure optimal commercial execution across Europe.

We are looking for

You as the leader of the Philips DACH Personal Health Sales Team, who will drive the profitable growth in one of the biggest and at the same time also most challenging markets globally. With your entrepreneurial spirit and business acumen, you have the unique opportunity to drive the transformation of our organization to build a long-term focused, data-driven and future proof sales vision for the DACH market.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • 10-15 years of experience in various sales roles (e.g. key account management) including substantial knowledge of the German trade landscape. Experience in marketing is a plus.

  • You are passionate about creating strong shopper-focused strategies together with our customers and sales partners to increase both the value for the key accounts as well as for Philips.

  • Based on your profound knowledge regarding category management, channel and customer strategy development and execution as well as accounts negotiation and performance management, you are able to successfully steer your team’s performance.

  • Thanks to your strong analytical, creative and strategic thinking, you are paving the way for new approaches, solutions and services, challenging the status quo.

  • You provide a strong business acumen including experience in P&L management.

  • With your entrepreneurial and results-driven personality, you are striving to find improvements and new solutions in the interest of the overall business.

  • Experience in Lean Office Management (Daily Management, Kaizen, Hoshin) is an advantage.

  • Business fluent in both German and English.

  • University degree (Master)
