As a Clinical Instructor, you will deliver best in class offsite education to our Image Guided Therapies customers. Deliver basic through advanced application training at the Philips Cleveland Learning Center. Ensures training facility is operational and equipment is upgraded to the latest versions of hardware and software.
Key Areas of Responsibility
Develop, update and deliver off-site and remote training content and materials in accordance with ARRT accreditation guidelines. This includes, but is not limited to: curricula, agendas, manuals, presentations, computer based training, video tutorials and assessments.
Create Quote Text and assist in the development of marketing material for the off-site programs.
Initiate and review customer satisfaction surveys, take action on feedback and make adjustments to course content as needed.
Complete and post student evaluations and communicate results with key stakeholders.
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure preparation for new product introductions and first of kind implementations.
Collaborate with marketing for promotion of new education offerings.
Review and ensure compliance of required radiation and Environmental Health & Safety policies and guidelines during training events and operation of equipment.
Identify possible education offerings, and facilitate and present at conferences and symposia.
Collaborate with business unit to ensure standardization of course material formats and processes.
Ensure training facility is operational and equipment is upgraded to the latest versions of hardware and software. Place service calls as needed.
Maintain accurate records of equipment and accessories, including specific locations, site codes, software versions, network configuration and other services as requested.
Conduct on-site applications training events in the field as needed.

Job Knowledge, Skills, Education, and Experience Requirements
Associates Degree required; Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
MUST: Maintain professional credential (Registered Technologist with ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) ( current credential to be considered)
MUST: Advanced certification in at least one of the following: (CV), Cardiovascular interventional radiology (CV), Cardiac Interventional radiography (CI), Vascular interventional radiography (VI) ; Will also accept CCi certification: RCIS or RCES if also an RT. (Must have one of the above to be considered)
Four or more years of clinical experience with Philips equipment in the assigned modality preferred.
Knowledge of advanced applications for current product line in the modality preferred.
Presentation and classroom management skills.
Advanced computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office.
Problem-solving, critical-thinking and priority-setting skills.
Effective communication skills.
Experience in adult learning process.
Certified Technical Trainer (CTT+) certification preferred.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
Up to 15% travel required by car, air, and/or train, including overnight stays and occasional international travel.
Works in training center environment, with occasional visits to the hospital/medical environment.
May work in environments where devices producing one or more of the following may be in use: radiation, strong magnetic fields, loud noise, high voltages, compressed and liquefied gases, and radioactive materials. Strict adherence to corporate and site safety procedures is mandatory.
Occasionally lift or carry up to 50 pounds.
Frequent repetitive hand movements.
