Philips Demand Planner in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam


Role Overview/Purpose:

To formulate and execute the commercial supply chain processes and to create, lead and coordinate initiatives and activities to achieve optimum integrated supply chain management within Philips

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create Sales, Marketing, Consensus forecast for the assigned planning horizon, BU and/or Customer Planning Groups by creating the statistical baseline forecast and enriching it with all relevant input from Sales, Customers, Customer Project Managers, Supply/Operations, Marketing, Finance and adjacent functions

  • Collect input for phase-in/out & promotions and manage the underlying process for the market and/or customers

  • Review and analyze historical sales trends, sell out, stock-in-trade, research demand drivers, prepare forecast analytics and evaluate forecast results

  • Lead conversation with relevant counterparts, propose forecast adjustments and challenge assumptions underpinning input

  • Support all relevant functions in creating and communicating gap closing scenarios

  • Support all relevant functions in preparing, planning, communicating and revising forecast for Customer Forecast Review Meeting, Business Integration Meeting and/or Market Leadership meeting. Adjust forecasts based on meeting outputs

Job Overview:

  • Manage the Demand Planning process for respective businesses and or Customer Planning Groups

  • Maintain the demand plan for respective business and or Customer Planning Groups and ensure timely updates for meetings and business planning snapshots

  • Collaborate with Marketing, Sales and Finance to achieve the sales, marketing and/or consensus forecast as input for the CFRM, BIM and MLM meetings

Key Competencies

  • Being able to apply company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues.

  • Fully qualified managers who have advanced functional expertise, and also general business knowledge.

  • Has working knowledge of company products and services.

  • Be able to manage frequent interactions with multi-function peer and regional counter-parts.

  • Interaction normally requires the ability to gain cooperation of others, conducting presentations of technical information concerning specific projects or schedules.

  • Works on issues where analysis of situation or data requires review of relevant factors.

  • Exercises judgment within defined procedures and policies to determine appropriate action

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possess a Bachelor’s Degree

    • 5 years of working experience in related field, including demand planning experience
  • Preferably experiences on Consumers Goods / B2C industry

  • Fluent in English and Vietnamese
