In this role, you have the opportunity to
Be the NPI/LCM (New Product Industrialization/Life Circle Management) Leader, manage industrialization projects for outsourced manufacturing at suppliers, implement Life Cycle Management projects at suppliers and drive the initiation of LCM projects by suppliers.
You are responsible for
Realization of development projects (AD/PDLM/MLD) at outsourced manufacturing to ensure new product launch in time and in full volume
Establishes and assures adherence to budgets, schedules, work plans, and performance requirements.
Managing the Philips internal sub-team industrialization as agreed in project management plan (e.g. PE tooling, PE electronics, local PI, MPD (Manufacturing Process Development), SQE, SCE, Supply Planner)
Acting as main interface to Manufacturer on all PI related items
Supporting on demand and if agreed on Product Development, Development Quality, Test & Verification and Procurement related items
Influencing product architectures wrt industrial feasibility and product concepts wrt design for manufacturability
Provide NPI related deliverables in product development and launch (IPD/PDLM) and Life Cycle Management (LCM/MLD)
Ensure proper documentation of project documents and evidences in Accolade on project drive and any other system deployed
Running assigned Windchill tasks on first edition technical documentation and technical changes (ECT, MCT, EMP, packaging) in reasonable time to ensure documentation readiness according schedule
Develop, specify and realize production tools & equipment in close cooperation with purchasing and suppliers
Set up and follow-up Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and Secure PSW conformance in cooperation with Supply Quality
Secure production ramp-up and availability of parts and elements at launch in cooperation with Procurement (leading), S&OP and Supply Planning
Secure delivery to warehouse performance at launch and all changes are implemented in time in mass production
Secure actual tool cost in line with @investor approval and CAPEX AOP/ROFO budget
Reporting to project team, daily management boards, NPI round table, NPI monthly reports
Maintain commitment to environmental and quality regulations / policies and 6S in workplace.
You are a part of
A global advanced manufacturing team, mainly for domestic electrical appliance products. You will base in Hong Kong office and direct report to Domestic Appliance Product Industrialization PI Lead, Hong Kong and China.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Bachelor Degree or above in Electronic Engineering relevant discipline
Minimum 8 years working experience, preferably from Electronic Components / Appliance industry with around 5 years working experience in an industrial environment.
Expertise in modern electronic engineering methods, tools and processes
Professional in relevant manufacturing technology, lean manufacturing and supplier quality management.
In depth understanding of manufacturing processes, tools, equipment and quality management systems and analytical skills
In-depth knowledge of process improvements and cost optimization
Strong communication skills with external and internal stakeholders
Independent, Proactive, driving for result
Good written English Skills, workable oral English. Chinese language is a MUST.
