Philips Senior FP&A Analyst in Hong Kong, Hong Kong

In this role, you have the opportunity to

  • Be at the core of driving operational performance management. You will play a vital role in the execution and standardization of FP&A TP/OEM processes, supporting the FP&A finance transformation roadmap and own harmonization and improvement projects within the TP/OEM operations domain.

  • You will be responsible for bridging the key function owners in the Hong Kong site for the BGs within Personal Health. You drive best-in-class OEM supply performance analysis in Asia, support the Finance Business Partner of HK site in identifying opportunities to optimize supply costs via direct interface with different local cost owners, work closely with different local operation teams to provide meaningful analytics which enable overall OEM excellence to businesses of Personal Health. In addition, you will be leading the implementation of new finance tools that affect the FP&A OEM activities and also linking local HK operation teams to different finance Pillars.

You are responsible for

  • Works proactively with the Finance Business Partner in HK site to provide fast and sharp business support to different local functional teams (Supply Chain, Procurement).

  • As a Supply FP&A prime for OEM HK flow, supporting local function teams in HK to deliver supply targets within OEM stream of Personal Health.

  • Provide in depth forward looking financial analysis with business insights translated from financial indication and also non-financial inputs collected from local function owners , these cover procurement saving, supply cost reduction, tooling asset investment efficiency, etc;

  • Work with different operational function/cost owners in HK site in delivering Annual Operation Plan and Quarterly Rolling Forecast.

  • Building an internal network with close link with local site function owners, BG/Categories and other FP&A finance pillars including Global hub at Chennai, India.

  • Participate in different processes improvement projects and co-ordinate the implementation in local site function teams and other related teams working for HK supply flow.

The Health Tech FP&A COE team, based at Hong Kong, report to Finance Business Partner Hongkong site for Personal Health in.

The Health Tech FP&A COE team is a strong international and dynamic team of approximately 50 people with diverse backgrounds and a strong focus on speed, discipline, and execution. It is a global team including a core sector team based in amongst others Amsterdam, Eindhoven and Chennai. The Health Tech FP&A team is part of the Philips worldwide FP&A organization enabling a collaborative cross sector working, support and knowledge sharing.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Bachelors and/or master’s degree in business or accounting, prefer qualified accountant with recognized professional certificate.

  • Strong working experience in finance or similar functions.

  • Strong analytical skills with ability of multi-tasking.

  • Proven ability to combine financial findings with business knowledge, and to partner with different functional teams in driving business targets.

  • An understanding of and affinity with Philips ways of working, values, cultural expectations and norms.

  • Model Philips Leadership competencies and Finance ways of working.

  • Ability to set priorities, balance speed and accuracy.

  • Excellent knowledge of MS Excel.

  • Knowledge of SAP (R3 FICO/BW) is a plus.

  • Excellent communication in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
